Our 3-year-old son has been attending LHA for over a year and our overall experience has been great! He loves going to school everyday, which is a testament to the happy and caring environment provided by the teachers here and their dedication to creating a fun and creative curriculum that is driven by the changing interests and curiosities of the children. Nina, the owner and director (whose son also attends LHA), is highly engaged with the day-to-day activities at the school and interacts closely with the children in each class. She and the teachers are very accessible, making communication easy and allowing any issues to be resolved promptly. Our son feels very much at home at LHA, a wonderful place for him to grow and learn!
When we were first looking for a daycare for our newborn, we looked all over the region – from the chains, to independent schools like LHA, to home daycares. We didn’t find any other place that gave us the “feel” that LHA did. From Nina to the teachers to the outstanding (and constantly improving) facilities, Little Hands is the best place we’ve seen and we trust our son to them completely.
Little Hands Academy means so much to our family! We were so pleased with each step – from our initial visit, and our subsequent visit, to our little guy starting! Each teacher has the children’s safety, development, health and happiness as their focus… which makes it easy for this mom to go to work and NOT worry. Any questions that I have, any questions anyone at LHA has had, all flow freely – communication that is deeply appreciated, personalized, and helpful! Oh, and we have only just started our time with LHA.
The teachers and owner at Little Hands Academy work diligently to inspire creativity and exploration for each child to assist them in understanding the world around them! It is truly a place where each child can truly thrive.
We have loved to see the girls grow and thrive over their two years with you. We would recommend your school to anyone!
My daughter has been going to Little Hands Academy since she was 15 months old. She is now almost 5 years old. Little Hands has become our second family! My daughter is so excited to get up every morning and go to see all her teachers and friends at school. She has moved up in all the classes and has grown and learned so much throughout the years. They have taught her letters and numbers, as well as life long lessons. They make it exciting and fun to learn!! She is always coming home telling me all the fun activities they did that day and how excited she is for the next day. It is sad that this will be her last year as she goes off to kindergarten, but we will never forget Little Hands.
Monica and Kayla are excellent teachers who offer support and learning for parents and kids. Nina is by far the most involved and active participant within the center and always willing to offer a story about what happened to your child each day
The first time I walked into Little Hands Academy more than six years ago, I was immediately struck by the number of kids laughing and having fun. I realized that the other daycares I had visited – while nice and clean – were quiet. And that seemed really wrong for a place with so many kids in it (in the middle of the day)! Since then, all three of my children have attended Little Hands. They have had amazing teachers who have cared for them and nurtured their varied interests. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with our decision to send our kids there.
